Part of the 30th

I thank God for family. Even though it gets hairy sometimes I love them all very much. I spent the summer after graduating from high school in New York with Uncle Brooke. What a great time! Grandpa Bentley, whom I love very much and have always had a special bond with, took the family out to none other then the Golden Corral. Thanks Grandpa! Love you tons!

Jessi turns 30!

Me, the big daddy, threw a surprise 30th birthday dinner with some great friends. It was just thrown together in the last 24 hours so nothing special but it was fun. We all met at the Cheesecake Factory in Murray and we had a really good time. Thank goodness Brittany called me to remind me it was a 30th birthday and a simple dinner and a movie wasn't going to cut it this year. I remember turning 30 and Jessi got a bunch of friends together for me, so I returned her the favor. Only I bet she spent a month planning the night, me..... about 24 hours and I slept for 8 of those 24. Easy stuff. I love this women with all my heart. I am glad she has stuck with me and all my $%@&!

'The Shack'

Kyle and Karmen, very good friends from Michigan, introduced me to an extremely powerful book called 'The Shack' by William P. Young. The book is a story of a man who through a tragic loss of his daughter, gained a spirtitual gift from God. I enjoyed reading the book immensely. This is the one book that I have recommended to many of my dear friends and family. My mom heard that the author was putting on a womens conference last week and she gave me two tickets for my birthday. I was so glad I was able to go and gain insights from this mans life experience. He told us about how through his struggles he gained a new relationship with God and a deep understanding of forgiveness. I wish I could explain in words the experience I had, it was just wonderful. As the Christmas season is upon us I would recommend this as a great gift.

2 Hannah Montana's 2 Pirates took over Lehi on Halloween Night. The loot was a ton of Candy and Little spider rings. Hannah even was requested to sing to get candy at one door. Reluctant to sing, Captain Jax Sparrow stepped in and stabbed the Halloween grinch, took over the candy basket and passed the treasure to all candy seekers in the hood.Posted by Jessi at 7:10 PM 2 comments

The Michigan Girls were given the grand tour of the old stomping grounds. The old home, the avenues, the view of the valley, downtown, temple square, the mountains and of course the outlets in Park City. Coleen's stomping grounds when she comes to town are Wingers for Sticky Fingers, Cafe Rio, Village Baker and more Sticky Fingers.
We had a great time and we miss you very much. Can't wait to see everybody in Pentwater!

Brook just reminded me the other day of how many girls nights I've had lately. He's right too! This was at Heather's house. She is the best hostess ever! Thanks Heath, your awesome!

I got invited to a bunko night while I was there. It was sooo much fun seeing girls that I don't get to see all that often. Needless to say I got home really late cause we had a lot of catching up to do!
